Stuck a 6 point @ 8 am. HIt him a lil foward into the shoulder but low in the shoulder.

He kicked like a mule. I know with a rifle that = a dead deer.

I eased out and came home.

How long should I give him??

been long enough now. By the time you get back he will have had 2 hours. Go get him. Did you get pass thru?

Lumenok diappeared into his shoulder.

But arrow was not laying there........so full penetration and I am guessing he dropped the arrow somewhere as he ran off.

you must not have been shooting a Rage because he would have been laying there in 2 pieces.

If you got that much penetration, he should be dead. If you hit him low, it's a good chance you got heart. Let us know how it turns out.

Never found him.......trailed blood prolly 150 yds and lost it.

Backed out and went and picked up the deer dog

She smelled the first bush that thdeer passed after being shot. She smelled it for 40-50 seconds, and then bolted through the woods in the same direction that we follwed the blood.

She made it 20 yds past where we found the last of the blood............then she started circling and never picked up another blood trail.

I am gettin a little agravated but I got up this morning grabbed the bow and went back at it.

I am tryin my best to stick with it. But I could use a confidence booster in a bad way.......
