National Hunting and Fishing Day
Granted, this event is geared primarily towards those folk who are mildly curious about the outdoors, however, SCDNR is hosting National Hunting and Fishing Day at is Styxx facility on fish hatchery road in West Columbia this weekend.
There is lots of things for kids to do, plenty to learn, there is a catfish pond they can go and wet a hook, too many activities and vendors to list.
If you get Saturday or Sunday off and take the kids, it will be a good time for them.
