    Default ticks?

    I have been wingshooting for a long time now and today I saw something for the first time. While cleaning my limit of birds I came across a bird that had two ticks in the crease of its foot. Both were as big as a kernel of corn. Kind of strange never seen that before, anyone else?

    Never seen them on a foot, but have seen them on both Dove and Quail.
