Grass Taking over

Anybody ever spray their field with round-up before the season. Have a good stand of browntop but grass is starting to take it over and with three weeks before the season, afraid it is going to cover it all. Cut a few strips today, but was considering spraying, any thoughts?

Once its done heading out I would spray and kill everything. Spraying should also give you head start on next years weeds.

We sprayed our sunflowers last Friday for the same reason,to kill the weeds

Spray it, unless your seeds haven't headed out. In a few weeks you can spray it again to kill the bermuda before next year, so you can plant sunflowers.
