    Default Glyphosate "burndown"

We sprayed the sunflower fields yesterday and saw lots of early doves and even a few bobwhites! The field is in MUCH better shape than last year's drought- and deer-devastated offering. Unless we have a tropical system or other catastrophe, we should be set for our family's Labor Day shoot.

What county is your field located in and how's it looking? What did you plant? Seeing birds yet?

Rode through a field last Friday and saw a ton of birds. There seems to be a good many left from last year. Saw some big doves for early season. A few looked like they were stuffed with cheese and jalepeno with bacon wrapped around them.

Located in Edgefield County. We did the same thing you did today to our sunflowers. Field is looking good and we are seeing birds too.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

TDM - trophy dove management. I like it.

LMAO. Hey that's what quality management can do for you. It's tuff to tell if they are a buck or doe when they have a tail wind.

We have a five acre field with strips of wheat, corn, and proso millet planted. We have had a good number of doves for a couple of months now.

Calhoun County. 30 acres. Homemade powerline right down the middle. Sunflower, corn, wheat. Just killed the sunflower out. Good many birds taking notice so far.

Aiken County, 20 acres, 5 acres sunflowers, 8 acres browntop (all volunteer from last year and thicker than ever before) and the rest is corn. Got about 40 acres of rye that has been recently cut that they are also feeding on at the current time. 2 homemade powerlines running through the fields.

Probably got as many birds as we've seen in the past few years but we had them like crazy the day before opening shoot last year and had to struggle to get the limit...........they are there now though.
