Any Kayakers on here?
The plugs that go in the sit on top kayaks.... Is there a certain way your suppose to put them in?
-
the scappers?(scuppers? something like that) They look like little plastic cups?
Stick 'em in the hole, with the closed side facing down. should have rope or a handle facing up.
They aren't necessary, I only used 'em in the sitting area during cold months.

The ones I saw were rubber.... no open or closed end. They look like the end you plug a bream buster with just bigger. The water here is in the 40's and I don't want cold balls. I never used them at home.

Thanks for the link but I'm not paying that much for them bastards. Hell I have 8 holes in one of my yaks... The ones I am talking about are $10 for 4 of them. My smaller kayak... 10 foot has 8 holes. My fishing yak, 12.5 feet has 2 holes. Go figure.

I understand, using the site as reference. do yours look like the one i posted? if so, proceed to put them in the holes as i described.

I have not picked them up yet. I just called about them and was wondering if there was a certain way you put them in.. ..like from the bottom or top.
You got a yak?
-
either way. I prefer from the top, Usually did it while underway if i noticed more water was coming up than i preferred.
Had one, sold it.. logged a lot of hours on it.

The price seems to have come down a great deal on them lately... I bought both of mine in 07. They are a lot cheaper now than what I paid.
