This would have to be mandatory!

It would be like a FF workday... without the work! I'm ya huckleberry.

Biggest issue I see is location; lowcountry wants it near them, upstate boys need a good hunt, midlands guys don't wanna drive to either. Meeting in the middle would be easiest.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

I agree with Glenn (strictly on the beer after the shoot part)

I'm in. Here's a thought. Have 3 fields, coast, midlands, and upstate. May be tough to do that but all the eggs wouldn't be in one basket and the fields could be rotated? Justa thought. Personally, I don't mind a drive if there are birds to be shot.

i got about a 12 acre field in simpsonville that we can use and about a 10 acre field in gray court. If one of my fields were to be used there would be no drinking until the guns are up anyone who disagree's can go home same as to those idiots that shoot low-birds

I'd be interested. I think a shoot at someone's property with a mandatory donation to the provider would be the best option........just speaking from experience on that point.

I've been involved in a "come one come all" annual fund raiser dove hunt before, and although profitable, it is a huge headache and an even bigger liability.

I say we tighten the circle and increase each person's ante. it could be an scducks dove club instead....limited number of members. First come first served in terms of membership with a waiting list.
