Tractor + disc = feed strip

Feed strip + (wheat x sunflower seed) - 10 days prior to season = doves

The PBiz 2-wire fence worked for us for about three years. Last year it failed miserably and the deer ate 75% of our sunflowers. This winter we built a fence similar to Carlisle's and it worked very well, but did not completely exclude deer.

Not sure why it took the lower Richland County deer until now to warm up to sunflowers. But now that they have, you're in for an annual fight. Maybe the corn + silage chopper will pull you through.

    Very nice fields.

This year I bought a 2 1/2 gallon jug of Malathion(cost $90.00). I've been sprayng soybeans and mixing 1 to 2 pints to the acre with my glyphosphate. That shit stinks and kills bugs too.

So far the deer are staying away from it.
