    Not dust....it's flying debris shot @ 12mm with an f4 aperture appx. 10-12ft. from the blades, camera tilted skyward. And the in your face shot was behind a truck window. Knew the risks.....and prevented them. I'm good on a clean sensor, thanks.

    good deal. i took about 500 pics once and had dust on the sensor and had no idea that it was on there... there was a spot in the same place on every pic. not fun to post process.

    I was concerned, obviously, with that. But took the precautions and it worked out as planned. I swear it aint dust. I shot 4 high school seniors yesterday in an abonded textile mill with white columns, white stucco walls, HUGE floor to ceiling windows, and TONS of natural light.....not a single spec of dust in any of their images. Actually, the D300 has a stellar sensor-cleaner built right in but the day will come when I will need to do it myself, I'm sure.
