Taxidermist?

Anybody have the name of a good taxidermist in the columbia area? And any pic's of their work if you don't mind posting them.

No, but I sure do have some in other places that UPS & FedEx make deliveries to. Those guys I have all the pictures you want.

Oh I do have some examples of work from a taxidermist in Belton/Honea Path but I wouldn't reccomend you use'n them.

Keith Crout did that bufflehead of mine in the cyber duck blind. He's in west columbia. But Shane Smith in Alabama has some rockin stuff as Squatty will tell you.

I took one over to Keith Crout a few weeks ago and he seemed like a real nice fella. Good mounts from what I saw. Jim Stout does good work over in Blythewood. But come mid February he will have had my work for a year? Might be the last time I use him.

I have a wood duck and a turkey fan done by Tom Wright up at Dreher Island taxidermy. He does good work and his prices are reasonable.

Does excellent work. However, he will take close to a year to get your mount done. Well worth the wait!!

There's a guy in Santee that does some pretty good work. I've got a couple of mallards that he fixed up for me that had a toe shot off but you can't even tell now. I'll find the name and number if you need it.
