Wiki - Uncensored - A Place For 'You' To Get The Word Out
A very conservative friend of mine, Tom, that owns a large ISP in Florida, and several other states, got tired of the censored news on Obama. So he started his own site:
Wiki-Uncensored
Remember Wiki software is participatory, so he hopes people of like mind will post articles that they feel are being suppressed by the main stream media.
By setting up this site he's giving us non-journalist/non-professionals a place to spread the word on things we read that aren't getting out to people through the MSM. This is our chance as common caring conservative citizens to get the word out and maybe make a small difference.
Here's his email where he informed me of the new site.
I became incensed the other day when I learned that the Wikipedia article on Barack Obama was heavily censored and was essentially pure leftist propaganda. I'm not sure why that upset me more than every other political news story over the past few months but it inspired me to start my own more balanced website which I put up as: www.wikibarackobama.com.
In the process I figured out how to get MediaWiki software to work on my server - it's the same free software Wikipedia, Wikianswers and lots of wiki sites use.
I decided there were lots of potential articles that could be written about things that are "censored" or "black-balled" by the mainstream media, so I expanded the site to:
http://www.wikiuncensored.com/index.php (of which the Barack Obama page is just one article).
I invite you all to take a look at it, and if you desire, to participate in it. A Wiki site allows anyone to post any article (or edit an existing article) on the site. We already have another article posted on the global warming myth. Anyone who wants can create an account on the site and start posting. There's a 'Help' on the left that explains how.
I invite articles on anything you think is being "kept quiet" by the powers that be. It can be political, but doesn't have to be - you can write about UFOs, how the more money we spend on public education the dumber our kids get, or how the American Idol competition is fixed.
All I ask is avoid profanity, write well, and try and cite links to your sources for credibility. If you don't, it will be censored (hah!). 
There's also discussion lists on each article for shooting the breeze about topics. For the site to grow, I'll need to build a critical mass of visitors to keep it interesting and since you spend a lot of time posting I couldn't think of a better place to start.
