    Default Shad at Tailrace

I am heading down that way tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone has heard how they are doing. I just love to catch them. They fight like hell.

I caught them last week in santee river, but now it's flooded higher than it was during duck season! Good luck in tailrace. Think we ended up with 33 bucks and 5 roes in about three and a half hours.

It does not matter to me if they are bucks or roes, I just release them. I have no idea what to do with them if I keep them. Thanks for the info.

Allow me to suggest: Remove the roe whole, wrap in bacon, grill until the bacon is done. Serve with grits and burned butter. If its not the finest thing you've ever eaten, you have a character defect.
