    Default Cheap Hog bait??

I have had some hog problems develop over the last year and I'm going to try to trap some here in the next few weeks. I have a good bait recipe that works well, but the price of corn has got me wondering if anything else would be better. Last summer I used soured corn and fish meal, and it worked great, but they eat it up quick(50# is a day or two)! I don't want to spend an arm and leg on bait, so wondering if anybody had a cheap hog bait mix? I might have a deal on some apples that were left from deer season that I can get cheap, anybody ever had luck with hogs and apples?

If you have hog promlems I have a fix. That fix puts them hogs right beside the green beans! I would be glad to come help your problems and will bring a bag of corn for you to bait in and trap what is left behind.
