All rough fish count toward the 10 (carp, cats, mudfish, mullet, gar, etc)
Entry is a tad bit more, 25 for members I believe but that is reflected in payout, Rules are common with a tad bit more empahsis on a family based environment at Palmetto tourneys(aint supposed to be drinking). There are different people that fish both groups with a few of us doing both. I recommend fishing both groups. The main difference is how the big money or end of the year money is divided or paid out but with both of the clubs you have to shoot a good portion of the tourneys to qualify for that shoot/moneys. Hope that helps

biggest difference in palmetto and lowcountry is palmetto tournaments are non trailoring and lowcountrys are trailoring...... all palmetto tournaments must leave the landing that its being held at..... lowcountry tourneys you can put the boat in at any landing on that body of water as long as you are back to the ramp on time...... both formats have there advantages...
