Gotta go to the mountains with girlfriend's family for the weekend.

I was told I could bring some fishing gear.

    Anything in the area?

Take the time to drive through Cades Cove. You'll see deer, maybe a bear, coyotes - pretty cool drive.

You go through Gatlinburg to get to Pigeon Forge, and they are not very far apart. There's one in Pigeon Forge too.

    http://www.rockytopoutfitter.com/index1.htm

Stop at Cooters in Gatlinburg if he's open - cool place.

In case you have never been there, you won't have any trouble staying busy. Loads of sites, and stuff to do.

Y'all have fun now, ya hear?

Cades cove also has LARGE wild brown trout in the abrahms (sp.) river that runs through it. Not sure of the regs, however. Check out "Trout Streams of Southern Appalachia," by Jimmy Jacobs. Lot of good directions and has very specific map locations for access points.
I might be allergic, but I'll try it anyway.
