Is that guy wearing a helmet because he is retarded and might hurt himself or was that really a dangerous mission? That sucks for the Green Lantern either way.

From the looks of the trunk lock I would say it is stolen.

I know one thing. He wasn't going to get WET regardless. When the final accounting was done, there were 5 Emergency response vehicles, 1 firetruck, 1 ambulance, 3 RCSD patrol cars, and 2 DNR trucks at the scene. Between them they had 7 Warn winches. None of them even considered wading into the 3.5 feet of water and pulling the thing out to check for people in the trunk or in the back seat. They opted to wait 3 hours for a tow truck... After 3 hours, we left, but I would bet cash money that the tow truck operator arrived and told them to go fuck themselves....

The kicker is that the poor old Green Lantern not only lost his ride, but Richland County is going to bill him for the removal of his car! What a world...

Yeah, I think CFD. There were 2 old boys fishing around 8am about 100 yards up the creek, they heard the splash and saw a Camry hauling ass out of there. One of the DNR guys knew the car from seeing it around Columbia. He said it was all jacked up with high dollar tires, spinners, custom paint, the works...

    It'll end up being stolen.

That helmet is probably on due to policy.

Were the rims still on it? I can tell you that that tow truck company made a whole pile of money on that one. JAB, I am sure that they didn't use the warn winches because of liability. That is something that we are TOLD, you know how government is.

The winches are like insurance. There to have certainly not to try and use.

Yep the helmet and jacket are department policy. Any time they are on a flowing body of required it's required.

They should just leave it there...that's bass structure! Hank Parker would catch a 10 pounder off the front bumper with a crank bait!!

Bill Dance would hit it at high speed in his boat, lose his tackle box overboard, and cuss!
