    Default Back from Wyo...... a day late

    first coupla days, high of 70

    last few days, got down to 10, 40 mph wind (gusts to 60)

    44 inches of snow, couldn't leave the motel, the rancher's son was gonna come rescue us when the snow started but couldn't leave town 'cuz the roads were closed, he went to the bar to wait out the storm, he got jumped by 3 dudes and they broke both bones in his lower leg

    had plenty of food but run outta bourbon early, were down to 1/4 bottle of peach schnaps and 1/2 batwing of some kinda cheap ass brandy

    Quackaddict - we were 'bout 20 miles north of Newcastle - NE Wyo on the edge of the Black Hills.

    Glenn - I found several men's watches, a ladies watch, an afro pick, and several other personal items that don't belong to me. I am selling them as a "lot" on ebay - happy bidding if you want yo shit back.

    Nitro - we learnt somethin' on the first day when we went to the liquor store, If you want to drink good bourbon wile on a trip, ship a case of Old Forester out ahead of time. I can't blame you for wanting to live there. I struck up a conversation with a state hydrologist the day after the election who was on the ranch looking at runnoff patterns(?) for the rancher. He's been a wyo govt employee for several years. Word on the street in the WY govt is that they will consider themselves "seceded" if the fed gubment begins to pull some of the crazy shit everyone thinks is gonna go down. The state of WY will accept no federal funds if the newly elected admin tries to impose it's will on the good people of WY. Yes, he used the word secede. Dammit - I can't think of a better place to be just for this reason, not even taking into account what mother nature has to offer.
