Never been to coastal nc to hunt. Is there pluff mud out there, or are we just the lucky ones?
Delta in a nutshell:Breeding grounds+small wetlands+big blocks of grass cover+predator removal+nesting structures+enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

It's there! Oregon Inlet isn't bad out from the marsh, but in the marsh, it'll get you. Don't even try stepping in the water in a Currituck water hole. I went to fetch a Black Duck, and took a step 6 inches into the waters edge and was mid thigh deep in mud before I could react.
