    Default 2008 silverado 2500HD

Any one know how to get the damn check air pressure light to go out? Just had new tires put on and the check left rear, and right rear light came on. One of them has gone out either by me fucking with the ignition trying to reset them, but the other is still on. Is there a secret squire club way to reset the idiot light? Thanks.

    Try this -

With the ignition in the on position (not running, key on) pump the gas pedal to the floor 3 times. This resets the computer in my 03. May work for yours, won't hurt anything if it doesn't.

It's in the owner's manual. Just like what's described above for the check oil light.

Ok heres the deal, yes it was in the manual. With the truck in park, set the parking break, turn the ignition to on, but not running, then hold both the lock, unlock buttons on the key less entry until the horn sounds twice. Once that happens get out and remove the valve stem cover and let air out of the driver front tire for five seconds then wait for the horn to sound, then move to the passenger front, passenger rear, then driver rear, the horn will then sound twice. Then turn key to the unlock off position and add the psi amount that you want in each tire, then turn the key off. Regardless it was in the book, a bitch to find, but its in there. Thanks for the help guys.

You mean you didnt have to rub your belly with one hand, and pat your head with the other while hopping on one foot before beginning?

Those manuals are getting easier every year.

That sounds like enough of a hassle to make me throw it in the yard.
