    i use a bag of crab boil, old bay, and a little bit of liquid crab boil too.

    Harv you are correct about having too many names!! Idlewild gave me some schooling on the names and the differences and how the original ingredients were thought of. Good luck with it let us see some pics!!

    Harv, I agree, it's called too many things. I've simplified it "Shrimp Boil." Everyone that I cook it for gets the idea. To make it 'right' it's a 6-8 beer process and it CAN NOT be rushed. I'm guessing we gotta do that Saturday night now. I'm hungry for it.

    Cook it all the way done, with no shrimps... turn off the burner, dump in the shrimp, and ring the dinner bell.
