Default Matthews SQ2 for a newbie

Well, I'm finally looking at getting into bow hunting this year...
I've shot several bows before, and its not a new thing to me. A local guy is selling a used Matthews SQ2 in good condition with a 3 pin, whisker biscuit, quiver, and some carbon arrows. He just had it restrung last month (like 100).

What is this setup worth? What would be a good low offer to get things started?

What all do I need to check for on this bow? I know matthews has a good name, but how does this particular bow stack up.

    Thanks in advance

prolly $275-$350 or so. Check out e-bay and type in "Mathews SQ2 " .

Make sure the draw length works for you.
If you don't know me how could I offend you?

$225-$250 would be a decent deal.

if it don't fit, offer him 250.00 then go to a shop and have the correct cam/module or whatever installed for the correct draw length

I'm not a big mathews fan, but I can't say I've heard any bad stuff about them - just the people that shoot 'em. My office mate shoots an sq2 and like it alot.
