    Default Swine

Someone told me deer processors arent doing hogs any more because of the swine disease.I have heard that went you handle hogs always where gloves,to help prevent anything. But how come I am seeing all these pictures on line with no one with gloves on?

Same reason you don't see anyone wearing gloves when they clean deer. CWD is easily spotted in deer but they can bare a multitude of other parasites as well. So, to each their own, I suppose.

Do some research on brucellosis and you'll see why you should be wearing gloves.

Seems like someone on here has some experience with it too, can't remember who, but I know it's been talked about and the lenghty treatment with doxycycline is very rough on the recipient. I'd bet that Trapper could give some medical input?

Spellcheck, in addition to gloves, you should also wear this to protect against swine infection
