    Default More Jap Millet?

I got a pond adjacent to a large lake that is almost dry, but still damp with the lower end flooded. I can drain it or flood it as needed. My plan is to pump out the remaining water and let it dry, disk with a tractor, flood to dampen soil and drain again. Broadcast Jap millet, with a 60-70 day germ, the first to middle of August. Flood the first of November. This is my first attempt. Good plan? Recommend fertilizer? Thanks for any advice.
