I know nothing about archery, but are any of y'all familiar w/Tiger Tuff products that used to be made in Greenville? Chuck Kidney? I used to sell to them before they went out of business. Their products always appeared to be top quality. Obviously, there's some reason though why they went out.

Just wondering whatever happened to 'em....

Sight - Impact Archery Jumbo, 1 pin
Peep - Just a BIG ASS peep, don't need no rubber tubing bull shit to make noise
Rest - Muzzy Zero Effect, no springs etc, (nothing that hits nothing = quiet)
    Release - Scott Little Goose
Dampeners - the Bowtech/Diamond factory stuff is just fine, Purchase an STS to quiet it down even more
Quiver - Bohning Lynx 6 arrah - it really dont matter to me, I take mine off in the tree
Case - SKB, the fucking best, worth the money
Knock point - learn how to tie a string loop
Arrahs - I like Carbon Techs, but they pricey, maybe Goldtips

The best advice I have seen so far in this thread is to go to a GOOD pro shop, ie. Jeffreys. If you don't go there, then don't leave the place unit you are absolutely happy with the way things are set up - don't let no asshole rush you out the door.

cusportsman - I was gonna tell you about a brand of arrahs I used to shoot that I had pretty good success with, but it would have given some of johnson smalls posts a touch of validity and we just can't have that. Just get you some Goldtips.

b-stick, sure do. I have not had a chance to shoot a whole lot. but from what I have I really like it. So smooth. I think that after this season and I get used to hunting with it some, I am going to get the draw weight increased a little.

Here's an idea, sell that new bow and buy a recurve. be a true sprotsman. there is no better thrill than to take an animal with a traditional bow. Been shooting one for 4 years and wouldnt go back to a compound.

"be a true sportsman"? come on....let's not push your beliefs on the rest of the world. getting a deer within 20 steps and taking a shot with a compound is NO DIFFERENT than making the same moves with a longbow.
