    Default Rain, Glorious rain!!!

Finally we have gotten a decent rain and not a moment too late. Last check we had gotten .5" yesterday and another .5" today, and still drizzling!!

Wooweeeeee! I went to church this morning for the first time in a looong time. Seems like the good Lord heard some prayers. Thanks!!!!!!

not enough to wet the top of the dirt here at the house in Greenville. I bet we haven't had more than 0.2 inches in the last 45-60 days. Kind of makes you think about what could happen to the Upstate with a sustained drought of a few more years. We could have serious trouble.

We're finally getting some rain here. We got 0.9" yesterday and we're getting pounded right now. Could be a two-day total of 2.5" or more. We've lost some of the corn's production, but this will help a lot!

Our two-day total ended was 4.95" at the farm!! From powder dry to soppin' wet within a 30-hour period!

On the down side, the wind blew over some of our sunflowers.
