    Default Clamp lights

How can I rig clamp lights to run off a 12 volt battery instead of the wall outlet??

buy some 12v screw in bulbs from an rv store and switch the plug to a couple of clips. should work fine.

I rigged up 110 volt an extension cord to my boat battery and just plugged in the light, using a 12 volt bulb of course. This is OK for running lights, but most 110 ext. cords don't have heavy enough wire for heavy 12 volt use. You need heavy wire to run a trolling motor for example.
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.

Unless you are running a lot of bulbs you should be fine.. Larger wire is meant for heavy amp draw or long runs.
