I am wondering how many oz./ gal of atrazine to mix. Also do I need a surfactant with it, if so how much. I have some pig weed in some millet I want to get rid of. Thanks.

The mixture is different for post emergence vs pre emergence................and also for the type of broadleaf. I would read and follow the directions.
However, I use 1 qt to 25 gallons which covers an acre for pre-emergent weeds.
whattup, Froggy! Can i give you shit for only coming here when you NEED something? j/k
google "atrazine resistant pigweed"
I swear you cant kill it. You can only make it mad. Is your pigweed in a field of row crops? Follow the label for pigweed, but i bet you it has some info that talks about atrazine resistance in some varieties. I feel like our mix is much hotter than catdaddys 1qt/25g but it all depends on how much chemical per acre, not necessarily the potency of the mix. 1qt/10gal could still nuke one acre if sprayer set right.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
I hate pigweed. Probably more than I hate socialists.

We usually put 2 1/2 gallons to 110 gallons of water and then add about 3/4-1 gallon of surfactant to it. Does the trick for us, of course when you don't get any rain for 2 months (50+ days) it doesn't take much. However it has set for 2 hours before then got rained on and it work fairly well. We all ways go back about a week later and put in a knockout punch for good measure, not as strong however.
