Hell no, they should not be open year round. Every SOB from NY, NJ, WV, OH would be stomping the woods flat year round looking to shoot a hog for the price of a WMA permit. Go down to the Savannah NWR and observe that gagglefuck some time and you'll know why WMA's shouldnt be open year round.

This is true, I am amazed at the number of people that come down from the north to come hunt the hogs.Could you start a way of chargeing these people that come down from the north and putting them on the hogs on public land?

hunt when the season is open, leave the yankees in the north and kill hogs own your own with a duce duce if need be.

Folks want what they dont have. My Grandfather built and ran Tellico Junction and Clarkrange hunting preserves. Folks will travel a long way and spent alot of money to shoot a hog.
