The clouds just divided and went by to the north and south. Not a drop at our farm, although they got a good shower a few miles to the south. For us - about a tenth in the last three-plus weeks. Sunflowers are heading out about navel high, corn about shoulder high. If no rain by Saturday or so, our corn is a lost cause - except for the corn in the duck field, which retains better soil moisture.

We've had very little here and I think it's already too late for the corn. Maybe we can get some for the beans and peanuts.

.15" since April 20something. Dove field is all but gone, corn 60%-70% gone, soybeans 40%-50% gone, hay just about dead. We haven't even considered cutting hay yet and we are usually looking at the second cutting around the 4th.

Bottom fell out at the house for exactly one minute and stopped..............just enough to knock the rest of the dead tops off my grass and make the road dust kick up.....................
