    Default Hog Hunting Land?

I was just wondering if any one would possibly know of any private land near charleston that people need some hogs removed off of. I would be happy to bow hunt only if they owners would prefer. I have never had the opportunity to kill a hog and would like to take a few weekends this summer and give it a shot.

    Good luck!

As much as people claim to not like em, that's one "pest" that people seem to hold pretty close. Personally, I think they are fun as hell to hunt and an interesting creature IMHO. And of course, whats NOT fun to shoot with a bow?

We've been fortunate to know the right people down here and have a nice little honey hole up in Summerville that we hunt for free. 200ac. Hogs at first, now deer too. Just bow hunting.

But it was a long time coming & it could be gone tomorrow if (when) the developers get it. It is what it is.

I've been wanting to do the same thing. I talked to someone this morning that does the dog hog hunt and you cut it with a knife....its $400 though.

I new it would be a long shot. Just thought I would through it out there. Too bad I can't afford the dog hunt with a knife!!

If you are in Charleston, why not try the WMA's? Lots of hogs down in those swamps.

I know you said private, but @ least keep your options open.

I would be open to the WMA's but I am looking for something during the summer months. From my understanding hog hunting is only open during deer or small game season's.
