Winchester Model 70 "Coyote" in 7mm WSM (soon to undergo more accuracy trials, when I have time) - with a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x50mm LR scope.

Highly customized / sporterized Model 38 Swedish Mauser in 6.5x55mm Mauser, with a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9x50mm scope (heavy duplex)

Sporterized 1898 Mauser action with a featherweight taper barrel in 30-06 that I need to put good glass on. Barrel is from Parker Hale.

    Miss my 280 Ackley.....

Also have another '98 Mauser, built on a Parker Hale 308 Winchester barrel (varmint weight) - I've shot deer with it, but it's heavy. Needs good glass as well.

NEXT PROJECT - '98 Mauser action built into a standard sporter weight gun in 6mm Remington. Why? Just cause I want to.

Remington .270, cheaper version but deadly accurate once you get it sighted in and the range has surprised me.

I also have a New England Firearms single shot .243 that is nasty. I've never missed with it and once I get a scope mounted and set on it, it seems to never move. The girlfriend hunts with ti now and is doing a good job of holding up the gun's reputation.

    1.)Remington 700 Sendero w Leupold 3.5X10X50 Vari III; 300 Winchester Magnum.
2.)Browning Bar MkII Safari; hopefully soon a Bushnell Elite 4200 2.5X10X50; 7mm Remington Magnum.
    3.)Remington 700 ADL w 3X9X40 Redfield Golden Five Star; 30-06 Springfield.

Just depends what kind of a mood I'm in as to what goes to the field with me that day. By the way, if anyone can suggest a good, competent gunsmith to perform a trigger job on the Sendero I would be greatly appreciative. 6 lbs. out of the box is just a slight bit heavy. Would like to add a Tika in 270WSM- really liked Labluvr's the day he brought it to our shop to show KRT- now if I could just find a way to get it past Mrs. 300WINMAG without getting a frying pan in the forehead I'd be in like Flynn!!!
