Here is a clip of our fastest limit ever. Not much hunting, just pure killing on one of those pitch black mornings God sends duckhunters every now and then. We had 2 extra men with us to boot which meant 64 mallards to the limit. Going in we figured it would be one of those days where we intoduced some guys to the sport, got some good shooting, and walked away without the limit happy as larks. We were wrong. When they are really pouring in you don't have a great sense of who is killing what on each draw with dogs and people running everywhere to pick them up with the next whack of ducks closing in. At first count up we were stunned to realize that we only needed 12 more to the limit... That meant the boys were doubling and tripling on nearly every draw. Anyway, great hunt with some great friends. Hope you enjoy...

    That's very nice!!

Is that the same hunt where the Kent shells messed up on you? Looked similar in the video.

On second thought, I watched it again with the volume on this time and now I think it's not so good. The ENTIRE state of Tennessee should be turned into a lake...

    great work JAB.

Notice the misfire/ fireball on the last shot on the video? The fire ball came from the gun on the far right, I watched it twice.

I would think it would be hard to not shoot hens in full daylight when this was probably taken.

That's right nice whackage there. It's amazing how those birds north of the border will decoy into pea fields at first light like a bunch of tamies.

mrtroy4man- We shot that in Saskatchewan.

There are no hen restrictions in Canada but we don't kill hens as a rule. My father taught us long ago to distinguish hens from drakes by shape instead of color and we do a very good job of carving the drakes out of the droves. When hens get hacked it is usually in the crossfire. There are days, however, that we just shoot ducks. That day we just shot ducks.

Yep Kent. That was Nutz lobbing those roman candles. He had 5 or 6 on consecutive hunts with brand new out of the case shells.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
