Default Anyone Have A GoPro Collecting Dust?

I need to film my kid's baseball games. At his previous school, I did the official filming and used a MeVo. Since we've changed schools, I'm no longer the official camera man, but my kid wants/needs footage.

Please let me know if you can help us out. THANKS!

No zoom on a go pro and its backed out for wide view.
It's not a good choice for that type of filming.

Hmm... I guess I didn't think about that.

We're currently using an old phone with a SD card. I guess we may just continue with that since I can't get a decent initial zoom.

    Thanks for the offers, y'all.

An iPad will work great for that.

I see a bunch of folks at my niece and nephews games with something that mounts to the backstop fence. Not sure the brand but I've seen a bunch of them.

Yeah, I've seen people use GoPro on several occasions. The MeVo camera is really nice, as it has some AI features and will do auto-zoom & auto-pan. There's lots of controllability when linked to a cellphone. When I ran that camera last year for the school, I livestreamed all the games to GameChanger.

I have a decent fence mount for the old phone I'm using; I guess I'll just stick with that.

Not trying to steal USMCs thread or jump in front of him.

But I would be interested in any GoPro or other action type cameras that aren’t being used. 12 year old Son is playing with filming hunting, fishing and general outdoor activities. Willing to see what we can trade or buy.

thats a cell phone (or other bluetooth device) that is showing the game on some app/youtube like channel thingie so others can watch from home.

You need the Black series. It comes with the looping feature which is a must for fishing and hunting......however with hunting, the game will normally be too far away to see. A go pro works good for fishing.

Newer GoPros put a LOT of data (I think that's the term) into videos.
I bought a Hero 11, took a few hours of SxS running, using a few combinations of settings & put chip into computer (2015 vintage).
Could only view several seconds of video then things went to hell. Still pictures were viewable.
Spoke to several dot-heads, installed software....even videos at the lowest settings on the GoPro, no luck.
Damn camera cost me another $2400, new computer plays them just fine now.

I’m skiing in CO and see many yum yums wearing go pros to their person. Does anyone go back and watch these videos of themselves skiing ?
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

It's so they can post to their InstaTwitTokFaceTube page if/when something happens (good or bad). I'm doubtful that anyone watches otherwise.
