    As any appraisor will tell you, an appraisal is an educated guess and the final judge is the market. Something is only worth what someone will pay for it. That's why I think the best way to guess the value of a gun is to look at how much a similar one sold for recently. On Gunbroker, you can see completed auctions if you create an account and do an advanced search.

    For very unique or rare items, you might need to auction it with a very high reserve price and see how high the bidding goes.

    And, when searching completed auctions, make sure you set the proper parameters: new, used, etc.

    Also make sure to look at the ones that actually sold.

    Lastly - you know us MOFOs, so why not just post up some pics and go from there?
