Default Which is more likely to happen

There have been a few threads here that I just end up banging my head on a wall for multiple reasons. The main 2 are bw35 defending State Farm and DuckTape playing victim as a politician and acting like politicians really care what the people think. The question is "Death and taxes are certain in life but what comes in as #3? bw35 getting caught up in defending insurance companies or DuckTape playing victim?"

in all honesty, I want my insurance agent to defend the company he works for. (while I wish he could help the customer more)

I want DT to think grassroots works (when we know it doesnt).

I'm not sure busting their bubble is gonna change much....

    I agree on a tie.

Insurance is a racket until you need it. Then it’s still a racket that tries to screw you out of every penny it can. Property insurance is bad. Health insurance especially in the case of major medical is a nightmare. I could write a book on the fights I had during Emily’s cancer battle with them. Let’s just say if you ever find yourself in that position, having an advocate is necessary or they will screw you 6 ways to Sunday.

I’ve got zero use for politicians. 95% of them are worthless, lying, con men shitbags looking for a way to line their own pockets. It’s not service to the public.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I'm going to leave this right here. SF insurance sucks.

I can not say why as I'm in a suit with them.
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

#3 would probably be "Fuck Climp5in"

Oh, and if you have to defend your job everyday, well you just may need to think about that

You need 2 things in any insurance claim. An agent that you know and trust, and a lawyer that doesn't trust the Big Insurance fuckers for an instant...

    You are the victim.

You pay the tax or else.

You get involved or stop complaining.

I hear you keep saying "get involved or stop complaining." However, many of us here have stated that we do email/call our reps and it seems to make no difference at all. What level of involvement, in your opinion, would give someone the right to complain? Do you ever read the feedback here and say to yourself "you know what, they may be right about that" or do you just not give a damn what "we" think? I appreciate you coming here and keeping us somewhat informed of pertinent issues. I think it would be refreshing if you at least pretended to care about any feedback you receive but I guess at least you are being honest in that regard.

Go to Google and type in "What is the maximum campaign contribution in South Carolina?" Then go form multiple LLC's and make max contributions in the name of each LLC.

There can't be that much money in small time politics on the fundraising side. The deals on the back end and the ability to use knowledge gained for profit by "predicting the future" (developers) is where its at for all of these guys.

I have emailed reps before and it makes no difference. Politicians dont care unless we write big fat checks.

And yes my county is at 10.5%

Auto/home insurance are atleast affordable and you can somewhat control what you pay by not getting tickets and not driving new $100k vehicles. Health insurance can single-handedly break a self employed/small business owner and the only way to control the cost is to not have it.

That is much of it, Jay. It is usually the established guy (big political donor) who has a specific plan, going to the up and coming guys who want his blessing. Business is business.

    6 are at 6%.

I want to reduce yours, my friend. If you are willing to help please do so. I will do my best.
