    Default ‘’Doc “ Hull

Famed Nebraska callmaker Darrell “Doc” Hull passed on Friday February 28. He lived a long life of 99 years.

He was an incredible craftsman, US Navy veteran, and Dentist. I will post up a few of his calls for a remembrance. Quite a great guy. Sure will miss our infrequent chats.

    Let the anti-dentites convene....

I have one of his calls. It is really pretty. I'm glad it is so I can leave it next to a duck mount and never blow it.

    RIP Doc.

Doc’s version of an OltD-2 cutdown. He made this one custom for me with Sterling Silver accents and a very nice piece of Spalted Sycamore.

My favorite call from him. A very nice piece of Ironwood. Sterling Silver band. Just an outstanding piece of call making.
