Got drawn for a hunt there in April. Anybody got any first hand information about this place. Camping, places to stay nearby etc

    Thanks

When hunting a new state, or new area where I've got limited time to make hay, I've had good luck calling the local biologist or land managing agency, and asking to talk about turkeys. And I've had good luck talking to any local staff about where they "see" birds. There's some nuance in the approach, but usually, if you're kind and willing to chat for a bit, you can usually build enough rapport without just point blank asking for a pin, and sometimes, they give you more information than you even expected to get! Good luck.
