Default Trying to plan an out-of-state trip

...for ducks. For next season. Don't have a duck boat, so it'll be a guided hunt. Probably a buddy and me, but no more than four people total. Who's done similar trips, and where/what/who do you recommend? As usual, thanks in advance.

Skip the Outer Banks trip, go west, not Arkansas but way west or north west from us and you should be ok.

    Early Season: North Dakota
    Mid-Late Season: Central Oklahoma

I also hunt sink boxes in the Outer Banks and it is extremely hit or miss. One year the sky will blot out with pintails and redheads, the next, your lucky to swat a few buffleheads.

This has been my program for the past few years. Always gotta watch the freeze but late October up North and late December/Early January South. Just my two cents. Find a good guide and have fun with your buddies. Good luck.

Been watching these guys on YouTube for the past week. Seems like they got their stuff together:

I was going to suggest them. One stop shop. Lodging, meals, hunts included. They kill ducks.

I'd go somewhere out of the box, like Wyoming where you are shooting mallards in your face with a 28ga.

Check out 307 Fowl Play Outfitters.

This is true. Migratory waterfowl are a difficult proposition, but they are great at handling what they can control. They hunt hard and have great ground. If ducks are around, they kill them. And they have draft beer. I like draft beer
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Mexico.. you're shooting lead, liberal "limits", weather, and some of the places you're shooting doves in the afternoon. If it's about the killing.

I second Mexico. You will be treated like royalty and get to shoot lots of stuff.

Didn't know if you were serious or not about Mexico. Wife and I are going to Argentina in a few years; think I wanna remain stateside for this mission.

I’d go out of the country like Ralph suggests. Mexico or Canada…………I go out each year. It will give you your fix so that you won’t care about killing a duck the rest of the year.

Argentina is cool, but too damn far away. The travel sucked.

If you're not headed to the Pacific North West then you're wasting your time. Pretty much everywhere else within the continental US is a crap shoot based on weather. I'd be in Astoria Oregon or up in Washing state shooting the piss out of the wigeon, pintails, and mallards.
Back on the West Coast in Northern California. Got four more years here and then I'm out in 2028!!

I've been to Mexico many times. It's been pimped out hard since 2017 and only getting worse. Still good but numbers are not want they used to be.
