    Default Christmas GSP Litter?

Sort of a long shot but I am looking for a GSP litter that is ready now or soon (Christmas time). We put my 14 year old GSP down earlier this year and my wife has been insistent that we get another one. I would love to surprise her and my girls with one.

Let me know if you hear anything.

I'm a sucker for them but the wife was adamant on the GSP. She is missing her best friend.

Check with Kim Ward at Broomstraw Kennels.

I think Briarwood Kennels had a litter I saw

Another up toward Loris/Tabor City IIRC, I’ll look for it again.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    Just texted Kim.

Do you have any experience with Briarwood? I've seen his videos of the terriers and some GWP stuff but that's all I know of him.

I spoke with him before I got Tilly from Kim, he’s serious about his dogs and wants to make sure they’re going to the right homes. I never actually met him though.

Coast Bound in Iva SC (864) 608-2096. Not sure if they have a Christmas litter or if they are even still in business. I got mine from them 6 years ago. Great dog, good nose, energetic etc. she's gun shy- but that's squarely my fault, still trying to work through that.

I have a ten year old female GSP that came from Hand GSP in Loris, SC. She was a Christmas pup that I picked up on Christmas eve and Santa delivered on Christmas morning when my boys were 5 and 9. She has been great - super drive to hunt, great nose, and a great dog around the house and with kids. I just looked and they have a litter expected mid-January.

I just spoke with him. I don't think he and I are a good fit for each other.

Kim didn't have anything but had me reach out to one more breeder.

you know this may lead to getting a dog that you dont want, right?

puppies shouldnt be bought on a timeline. I'd give her an IOU for a dog in her stocking so you can get the right dog.

you know this but you dont have balls. gimme the ms' number....

    does she do the facepage?

you realize this is somewhat humorous but still very true so dont get all pissy like some people do and call me an asshole for being right.

Oh yea. I'm not gonna buy just any dog. Some of the names dropped in this thread aren't just regular back-yard breeders. I was doing a little bit of wishful thinking, hoping I could get lucky and find a good one in time to get it under the tree.

But I appreciate you stepping in to add your commentary.

I’m really sorry to hear about your GSP. It’s a great idea to surprise your family with a new pup! I’d suggest checking out local breeders, or even breed-specific rescues—they sometimes have litters around the holidays. Also, GSP groups on Facebook or forums are a good place to find leads since people often post about upcoming litters there. I was in a similar situation when we lost our old dog, and it was such a joy when we found a new one.

    Default Christmas GSP Litter?

You need admin approval to sell puppies. This the third time I’ve made this clear to you. No more chances

Hand GSP in Loris just put an announcement on FB about a litter coming in January. Said she was taking deposits. I know nothing about their pedigree but they do take good care of pups and seem to always have healthy litters.
