    Why are we not looking hard at diesel and motor home quiet enclosed units?

    Is it a cost thing?

    For me it's location to natural gas line and power meter. I only have so much room to work with. The convenience of what i am looking at just makes sense for my situation

    Service is key. Someone to answer the phone when you call. Industrial side of business there is only two techs for them in SC.

    Cummins. People buy the generacs because they are a tad bit cheaper and you hear more people talking about them. Cummins has a better unit and better service "if needed".     162 hours and ticking. I’ve still got one unit running now at a 90 year old lady’s house.

    I’m not sure of the published continuous duty rating of the Generac or Cummins units. Vaguely it seems like 8 hours best I can interpret the documentation.

    21 days is the allowable 100% rating for a CAT. 500 engines hours.
