    Default Buice Birthday trip

Well, Billy turned 82 on Saturday. PBD , Willy G and me met up for a visit. Paul brought his son Will along and we got a real treat.

Got to see some stuff that is rare. PBD got to play the 1968 #1 yelper. Fine morning with a dear treasure of a friend.

A couple Cocobola calls from some seriously old blocks Billy had under the workbench for 40 years . He is very allergic and a new lathe and a respirator made these possible.

I got this crosscut Osage over 20 years ago and am real glad I didn’t have it made into Duck calls. 3 blanks. One to Billy and the other two are at Scott Davidson’s for light saber handles. (More on those later).

To say I was stunned by this call is an understatement. It is one beautiful yelper. #1 of 1.

Very nice. I treasure the 1 Buice trumpet I have. The phone conversation we had was memorable to say the least.
