    Default Freezing green peanuts?

My grocery store has inconsistent quality green peanuts. Can green peanuts be frozen then boiled later? If I hit them on a good week and they have nice peanuts, could I buy a extra and freeze some for future batches?

I know that boiled peanuts can be frozen and thawed. That is not what I am asking.

I have done that over the years without a problem. Bread bags turned inside out worked for me.

They are never as good if frozen after boiling.
Honey...I'll do it after the season is over.

Blanch, lay out on a board to cool and freeze in gallon bags after cooling. When ready to eat thaw and boil as you regularly would. You wouldn't be able to tell between fresh and using this method unless told so.

This is a great tip! Thanks for that. We recently had trouble finding some but figured out Food Lion seems to have them often enough.
