Raising Crickets?

I'm gonna try it mainly for the kids they really seemed to want to try it. Watched you tube? talked with older guys. All in. I'll post pics later.

Pro tip-

Spill a couple of tubes full of crickets in your car and you'll never get rid of them. 3 months later you'll be driving down the road and the bastards will still pop up, crawling around on your neck and shit.

I thought about dabbling with it, but figured crickets were cheap enough, and I saw a dirty jobs episode about it.

I went and got 50 because that is all that was left at Randolphs. With replacement worms. 5$

Went to Lanes to get another 100 so we had 150 for the cricket breeding project. Lil girl got an ice cream bar, and I got a 11$ bill. I fell out. She even said wow those crickets were expensive!

I said yup, but now we will grow out own!

Any way we got them set up. I'm in the middle of grilling and getting cat lines out. I'll post pics of the Cx4 project shortly!

Lil man is gonna kill all of them picking them up!

Got a really cool sunset on delay as well, with an Apache going by!

We almost went to Eileen’s for lunch yesterday.

Mrs. SW338 had a hankering for the home fires

Little closer to the other DG down the street!

Everything I read said 90 degrees, so I'm trying inside the garage.

Try feeding them some banana peels. I've read anecdotal claims that it makes them more irresistable to bream. I tried it but never did a double blind test to validate it.

I was working on some foodplots after dark last night and had all the tractor lights on. They light the world up. That Apache kept circling me and finally just sat hovering facing me. My first thought was they were trying to figure out what I was. My second thought was they had probably locked me into some weapons system having fun!

Fished out of Pack's yesterday. Had an Apache cruising up and down the river and out around the flats real low.
