As bad as I hate to see it, in my line of work, it’s not bad for business. Double edged sword, if you may

In my experience, you can usually put a decimal in between those large forecast totals and get closer to what we see at ground zero, but every once in a while...

My pond got full enough to run over the overfill portion about 6" deep yesterday, almost back to normal today. Been on tractor repairing my driveway this morning. Preparing for later this week...

Just made a 90 mile roundtrip to tie two gheenoes to trees along the swamp.

It's going to take two days to move from Charleston to Florence.

Leaf spring is broken on the trailer so the boat will have to ride this one out under the house (300 block). We have some lagoon drainage problems so if we get the rain they are talking about, and the storm stalls, we will have some problems at high tide. We had 3-4 ft under the house during Mathew/Irma. My sister lives in Wyndam and I have talked to a few other folks that live on the island, at this point it's like the rest of the storms, wait and see. Wind won't be the problem, it will be water. Hopefully JAB, or anyone else with 1st hand knowledge, can give us updates on here as this thing rolls through.

    Default Hurricane Debby

500 year flood lines are gonna be changing. Everyone in the 26-95-Savannah river-Atlantic Ocean box will be getting a call from an insurance company that is going to require them to pay up only to have the insurance company find a reason not to ever pay out on any claims.
