Does not really matter...shooting is more important...blend in with your surroundings

    oh it matters.

shorts are not for amateurs. while army cargo pants my work, this isnt sumter. if you wear shorts and complain about the pigweed poking you, you made a bad choice. know thy field. there are times that shorts are for your own sanity if you sweat like a whore in church. opening day is one of those days and its an assumption of risk on your part. choose wisely.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

yeah, if you're not brave you better be able to control where you'll be at in a field.. I wore shorts to 2th's once, and in mine a handful of times over the years. I set out guys at our place too. If I'm at shorts at our place it because I'm grilling and I'll be sitting around the edge cutting people off and poking fun of poor shooters. This year doesn't already look like a "shorts" year..

Mosquitos mater when deciding on shorts. Those tropical storms in August can take shorts out as an option.

PSA for the public land guys-

Wearing shorts greatly reduces the risk of getting your pants leg caught up in your bicycle chain.

    Fact.

Public dove fields are a no holds barred free for all.

I thought I was going to have to cut a man one day over a bird.

Riding a bike to get to a good spot doesn't make much difference when rude yahoos come later and just park themselves in front of you and cut you off. I think they should have assigned stands and a drawing for positions. I don't have the temperament to attend public dove hunts anymore.

whoa hell no. I dont have rules. I have "suggestions". like I suggest you dont bring three boxes of shells, leave your empties, and wear jorts.

otherwise, I am a super low key dove host.
you're invited every time, even though you are mean. real mean.
    and words hurt, you know?

I've never been invited either but he doesn't like me. You not getting invited is a mystery.

Maybe it's an issue with your wardrobe?
