Maybe just a coincidence, but he could have been in the UFO welcome center when it “went up”

Interesting tidbit (not that it should matter) - he was gay.

Regardless, RIP to a funny dude.

Yep. A couple of us ran into him on the backside of a comedy club once, twenty five years ago.. We'd had a few drinks on the way over so we were all in a laughing mood, and caught him on the outside. We talked for a while before he went on, and one of my buddy's was like dude there's no way he's straight, "do you see those glasses". I had heard most of his bit then, still couldn't help to laugh all night. Then years afterwards he'd come to Camden and do a show at our Arts Center once a year for a few years. That's when it came up again, people talking, didn't really matter though, he was funny.

I remember reading somewhere that it was rumored he was gay.

If he was, he did a good job of keeping it private, most of his audience probably wouldn’t have liked it

I felt I had been doing a couple hours of sit ups after seeing him in person. I laughed myself out of breath.

I always liked the bit about hurricanes and the miracle of plywood.

My wife waited tables at a comedy club around 35 years ago while in school, and she told me back then when it wasn’t as “mainstream”. He made me laugh. What he does in his bedroom is his business, not mine. I just mentioned it because you wouldn’t guess it from seeing his act.

He got his start at the Punchline in ATL. Funny guy. He would fill the club with happy folks.

Could care less about his sexual orientation or his affinity for the butthole.

We saw him at the Younts Center in Fountain Inn several years ago and everything he said was funny.

Like others I could care less what someone does in their bedroom

2 of my favorite clips of his are “when teachers start shooting back “ and “Southern Funeral “

You got to wonder how many folks are sending casserole’s to the funeral home LOL
