Just got done eating at Palmetto Flats for lunch. Great food, incredible fries.

I'll try the okra next time I am there

    ^^^ glad you enjoyed it.

My favorite sandwich is their Fried Green Tomato BLT, hand-breaded sliced green tomatoes layered with applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, basil pesto

I appreciate the suggestions, a few places came up a couple times from different people and that is nice to see.

Looks like I need a longer trip to get in all these places. Shame I can't catch a race while I'm out there as well.

Also heading into Edisto one day and gunna make the stop by King's.
Maria’s crab dip and the BLT dip from King’s is good

I need to try that. The pecan chicken flatbread is a staple, the calamari is good when they have it, honestly haven’t had anything bad from there yet. Plus it’s right down the street.

Going to also make a trip up toward Greenville to check on some employment opportunity's for the wife, probably will be an overnight.
Where's a halfway decent place to say in that area (or where do I avoid) And. Where can I get a decent steak as well??

    Thanks in advance.

Caught a Red-eye back home this morning after a whirlwind trip. Tried to do some updates along the way but scducks and my phone don't like to get along.

Took a trip around the Lake Marion/Moultrie area over the 95 bridge to check out some property. Beautiful country. Looped back through Monck's Corner and grabbed lunch.
