Seems like the crankcase filter is stopping up and “floating the valves” due to crankcase pressure and locking these 6.7s down

More fuel = more boost!!
16k drop in replacement. I’m sure it’s paid for it’s self with all the towing.

i have no clue what any of that is but i hope this means you finally bought me a tow truck.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Is the crankcase filter a maintenance issue, something that was not changed on proper intervals on this truck?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
You might take out a dozen before they drag you from your home and skull fuck you to death. Marsh Chicken 6/21/2013
Yep but that’s a different video than I’ve seen. He’s got a few on it.

Every time I see these videos I remember why I don't own a diesel.
2014 6.7 here. Tow dump trailers, equipment and a 26' boat regularly. Motor is deleted, I have a filter to catch the bs if fuel pump goes. Trying to make the truck as reliable as possible. I check the oil cap when I think about it and no pressure as of yet. What you recommend to avoid this issue? A ccv re route? Just change the factory filter? 145k miles currently. Thanks
Just learned last week that our JD 6105 has a crank case vent filter. Alarms started going off and codes for high crank case pressure. Shut us down for about an hour.
I yanked the inlet tube off it and went old school with a rubber hose dripping the little bit of blow by that all diesels have.
All in the name of the environment……..so stupid in my mind
