    Default Boy Bird

    He’s been going with me since he was two. He thinks he’s a pro now. He can run a call pretty well for five years of age. We practice several times a week getting him on target quickly. He has had 6-8 long beards within 35 yards this year but has not been able to put the dot on his neck in time. I was really proud of him holding off because it wasn’t perfect. No decoys or blinds.     Heard 7 birds and this one came to 17 yards and hung out behind the planted pines. He stepped out while Coulter was following him and I whispered “take h…”. Couldn’t get the rest out before the trigger broke.
