    Default West Bound and Down

Some pics from last weekend’s visit. For those who don’t know I’ll be following in David’s (eastover_cowboy) footsteps and making the 1,900 mile drive to southern Montana for a job on a ranch in June. Excited would be an understatement. Being that I graduated high school about 9 months ago, I still have absolutely zero clue what I’d like to do for a living, so when this opportunity arose it was a no-brainer. I’ll keep y’all updated and post plenty of pictures, and I’m open to any advice that y’all are willing to give. Thanks

I just moved to southern Wyoming. Enjoy the absolute beautiful country, amazing people, and all types of wildlife everywhere. Enjoy the ride and the country. I’m not to terribly far away if you ever venture south

“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. In the more here and now timeframe; wear your seatbelt, don’t drive stupidly and pull over when you get tired. You can’t enjoy the experience you’re about to have if you’re dead from doing something stupid or losing focus on the task at hand.

Join the military. It's a no-brainer to pay for either college or a trade school to learn whatever skill you wish. I chose the Air Force Reserves. Let me know if you have any questions about it. Safe travels!

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Great decision on what ought to prove to be an experience you'll always look back on... assuming you decide to move on vs just living the life in the Montana countryside. Good luck and have a great time!

Man you are going to have an awesome experience> I lived in Wyoming for a while and I like it better than anywhere else I have ever been, and I have been all over this country and a bunch of other countries. Good Luck!
